Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Expo Kicked off

China Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Expo 2016 opened on August 26 with an astonishing opening ceremony. The Expo is held at Qujiang International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Xi’an, lasting for 3 days, from 26 to 28.

 

2016 Expo aims at promoting the “One Belt, One Road” initiative and producing opportunities. Moreover, 7 main activities showcase the tourism products of countries along the Silk Road. Meanwhile, those activities show the well-known domestic scenic spots, local folk culture and tourist services.

 

More than 600 exhibitors and 400 hosted buyers from 42 countries and 26 local provinces participated in the exhibition. The organizers anticipate 4,000 trade visitors and 50,000 public visitors to visit the exhibition.
