Weihai - Daegu direct flight set to launch in May

According to China Eastern Airlines, a new direct flight will link Weihai, the east end city in Shandong Province, and Daegu, the fourth largest city in Korea since May 1st.

 

The new flight will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft. The new service is running on a schedule of four flights a week- Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday leaving from Weihai. The flight MU2075 will leave Weihai International Airport at 11:30 Beijing time. It will arrive in Daegu International Airport at 13:40 local time. The return flight MU2076 will depart from Daegu at 14:40 local time and arrive in Weihai at 14:50 Beijing time. The flight time is one hour and ten minutes.

 

Weihai locates in the northeastern part of Shandong Peninsula, near the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea in the north. It was a coast fishing village and called Shiluo in Han Dynasty. In Weihai, there are many beautiful places that worth to have a visit, such as, Liugong Island, Chengshantou, and Shengjingshan Mountain. Weihai is also known as "Cape of Good Hope" in China. It is the first spot in China where people first see the sun rise in the morning.
