The exhibition of cursive calligraphy works opens in Chongqing

Recently, a cursive calligraphy exhibition of 10 young calligraphers from Chongqing, co-organized by Southwest University and sponsored by Chongqing Young Calligraphers Association, opens at the Museum of Southwest University.  

 

On the exhibition, a total of 100 cursive calligraphy works are on shown to the public. The exhibition has received cursive works created by more than 300 young calligraphers and calligraphy enthusiasts in the city since the public call for submissions. The authors included undergraduates from Chongqing University, Southwest University, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Chongqing Normal University and other major universities.

 

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Chongqing Young Calligraphers Association. In order to cultivate young calligraphy talents and showcase the outstanding achievements of Chongqing youth calligraphy, the Chongqing Young Calligraphers Association specially organized an exhibition of ten young calligraphers in Chongqing.
