The culture and art exhibition opens in Shaanxi History Museum

On January 10, 2020, a large-scale exhibition of historical, cultural and artistic exhibition, “Everlasting Like the Heavens -- the Cultures and Arts of the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang" reporting exhibition opens in Shaanxi History Museum and will run until March ,28th.

 

The culture and art exhibition, displaying 149 representative cultural relics in the 7th exhibition hall of Shaanxi History Museum, was jointly hosted by Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Heritage Administration and Tsinghua University, and co-organized by the Shaanxi History Museum and the Tsinghua University Art Museum, with the assistant of 42 units of antiquities and museums in Shaanxi Province.

 

The countless fine cultural relics unearthed in Shaanxi Province, whether for academic research or artistic aesthetics, have become the focus of the study of ancient Chinese fine culture and art worldwide. Zhou's bronze ceremonial instruments, Qin's Terracotta Warriors, Han's frescoes stone carvings, Tang's Famen Temple Palace treasures, Hejia village cellar spotters, etc., are the proof of the world's advanced civilization, reflecting the brilliant achievements of ancestors once had.

 

Shaanxi History Museum is a comprehensive historical museum. From its first open day, various exhibitions have been displayed here. It depicts the rich culture of historical cultural relics and extensive profound civilization of Chinese Nation from multiple perspectives.
