Museums in Jiangxi Province launches various online exhibitions

Recently Jiangxi Province has released a series of online exhibitions for people to enjoy. Due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, some local museums and memorial halls are closed to avoid the cross infection during the Spring Festival. Now, people can enjoy the museums’ cultural feast via the Internet at home.

 

Jiangxi Provincial Museum launches a new program on its official WeChat account, which is to display one treasure from the museum each day. The program will last for 20 days. The museum  also opens several themed shows online, including the cultural relics unearthed from the tomb of the Marquis of Haihun, princess's jewelry from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and pictures of the Chinese zodiac relics. 

 

The Ruijin Central Revolutionary Base Memorial Hall of Ruijin launches the VR online scenic spots on its website to the public . Based on 3D panoramic technology, people will know the basic displays of the museum and the scenic spots of important revolutionary sites online.

 

Jiujiang Museum launches the "virtual exhibition hall" and "boutique collection" exhibitions on its official WeChat account. At the same time, the famous Jingdezhen China Ceramics Museum has timely updated its 3D online exhibition hall.
