China's First Tourism Law to Curb Price Rising at Scenic Spots

The first Tourism Law in China will be applied from 1 Oct 2013. According to the new law, the trend of rising entry fees at some Chinese scenic spots will be effectively curbed. At the same time, a notice of price hike must be given to tourists six months in advance.

 

 

From 2007, there are a lot of scenic spots raise the entrance fees many times under the situation that a notice issued by the National Development and Reform Commission has been given, the notice regulated that scenic areas could change admission fees only once in three years. The new law said price of scenic spots should gradually go down since natural and ancient resources are belonging to the public.
