Singapore Airlines will put a larger aircraft into service between Singapore and Beijing from Aug 1. The 471-seat A380 will be deployed for two flights, SQ802 and SQ807, which are currently serviced by smaller aircraft.

Singapore Airlines now operates three daily flights from Beijing to Singapore. Beijing is the second city on the mainland to which the airline will use A380 aircraft, following Shanghai. The aircraft is also deployed on flights to Hong Kong.
