New direct flight opens between Chengdu and Kathmandu

Lhasa-based Tibet Airlines on Aug 8th opened new direct flight service between Chengdu, capital city of southwest China’s Sichuan Province and Kathmandu, capital of Nepal.

 

Tibet Airlines is offering the regular scheduled service four times a week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Aircraft Airbus 319 is operated on this new route, featuring a two-class cabin with a seating capacity of 128 passengers, including 8 in business class and 120 in economy. 

 

The airline's plane TV9899 departs from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport at 18:15 and lands in Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu at 18:25 local time. The return flight TV9900 is scheduled to leave Kathmandu at 19:25 and arrive at Chengdu at 0050+1 local time.
