AirAsia announced that it will start flying between Xi'an in Northwest China's Shaanxi province and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 2.

This will be the first non-stop service between the two cities. The Malaysia-based airline will use an Airbus A330 aircraft to fly four round trips a week. A one-way trip takes five hours.
