On 3 Aug, 2013, the third Tangka Art Exposition lowered its curtain at Norbu Lingka in Lhasa, capital city of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.

A total of over 230 pieces of Tangka works are on display during the nine-day exhibition. Visitors also have a chance to see artists painting pieces of Tangka on site. Originated from Tang Dynasty, Tangka is a unique style of traditional Tibetan scroll paintings found only in China's Tibetan areas.
