The printmaking works show in Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute

Recently, the Itinerant Exhibition themed on “Belt and Road · New Power of Western Printmaking Works” was inaugurated in the Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. The exhibition will last by the end of September.

 

It is reported that 176 works were evaluated and selected by the domestic experts through primary evaluation and re-evaluation. The exhibited works on shown have distinct themes, rich contents, diverse forms and rich flavor of the time, and they also have distinct characteristics of western culture and reflect the keen observation and rich emotions of young printmakers in western China.

 

The exhibition is divided into four touring exhibitions, the first one was held in Yunnan Art University, followed by exhibitions in the Library of Yunnan Art University, Yinchuan Art Museum, Inner Mongolia Art Museum, and Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, and academic seminars have also been held.

 

This exhibition is a collective report of young printmakers in western China, hopes to take this exhibition as an opportunity to strengthen the interaction and exchange between Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and Yunnan Art College, and jointly promote the development of fine arts in southwest China.
