New direct flight to link Zhangjiajie and Bangkok

According to the China Southern Airlines, a new direct flight will be launched since October 28th. The new air route will link Zhangjiajie, a international tourist city locates on the northwestern border of Hunan Province, with Bangkok, capital of Thailand.

 

The flight will be operated by Airbus 320 aircraft of China Southern Airlines. It is estimated that the fight will departs from Zhangjiajie at 22: 10 p.m. Beijing time, and arrives in Bangkok at 00: 30 a.m. local time. The return flight will leave Bangkok at 04: 10 a.m. local time and arrives in Zhangjiajie at 07:30 a.m. Beijing time.

 

The new air route will help open the aviation market in Zhangjiajie, and promote economy and cultural exchanges between Zhangjiajie and the Southeast Asian country. Zhangjiajie features a variety of different terrains including: mountainous regions, upland areas, plains, and Karst rock areas. Among these, the mountains cover 76 percent of the total area. The world-famous natural heritage site 'Wulingyuan Scenic Area' is located on the base of these great mountains.
