New direct flight to link Wuhan and Mauritius

According to the Wuhan local government, a new direct flight will be launched between Wuhan City - in central China's Hubei Province and Mauritius - an island nation in the Indian Ocean. The new direct flight will cut the travel time between the two places to 11 hours.

 

The new air route is operated by Airbus A340-300 aircraft of Air Mauritius. The flight will take off every Saturday. Outbound flights will depart from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport at 1:05 a.m. Beijing time and arrive in Mauritius at 7:40 a.m. local time. The return flights will leave Mauritius at 8:15 a.m. local time and arrive in Wuhan at 11:05 p.m. Beijing time.

 

Wuhan Tianhe International Airport is about 1km southeast of Tianhe Street, Huangpi District, and is about 25kmto the city center. At present, there are more than 35 airlines in the airport. They operate about 170 air routes, including 53 international ones. The airport serves flights to 72 domestic cities and 47 international cities and areas.
