National Art Museum of China opens the art exhibition of Asian artists on May 10th. Themed as “Shared Inspiration - Asian Art Exhibition”, the show features 130 artworks by 120 artists from 41 countries in Asia, which covers art forms ranging from ink and oil paintings to prints and sculptures.

The works on shown are divided into three themes - Expression of the East, Beauty of China, and Charm of Asia. The work reveal respectively the poetic features of Asian art, the beauty and vibrancy of modern China in the eyes of artists from other Asian countries, and Chinese artists' understandings of landscapes and people's lives in other parts of Asia.

The art exhibition is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Art Museum of China and co-organized by the China Arts and Entertainment Group, and will run until May 26th. This exhibition is also a part of the series of events for Joint Exhibition of Asian Civilizations, a cultural program during the 2019 Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations, which will open in Beijing on May 15th.
