Mediterranean art collections of the Louvre came to the National Museum of China on 29 Oct in Beijing for the first time ever. The occasion also marks the first time the two museums have worked together. The exhibition will last to the next February.

The exhibition includes more than 280 items, displaying art from different cultures, countries and regions throughout the Mediterranean Sea as a whole, while explaining the rise and disappearance of each culture.
