Hainan Airlines opens Shanghai-Boston direct flights

Hainan Airlines launched the Shanghai-Boston direct flights on June 20. According to the airlines, later on June 22 the Shanghai-Seattle air route will also be open.

 

The Boeing 787 aircraft is used in the flight, which carries 213 passengers per single trip. The flights run three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The plane leaves Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 12:00 a.m. and arrives in Boston at 2:35 p.m. (local time). It takes about 14 hours.

 

Hainan Airlines has been increasing its flights to the United States these years. And by the end of June, the airlines will have seven air routes between China and the USA.
