Exhibition for Yayoi Kusama opens in Shanghai Fosun Foundation

Yayoi Kusama is an avant-garde Japanese artist, and is called "polka dot queen”. On March 7th, an exhibition devoted to Yayoi Kusama opens in Shanghai Fosun Foundation. The exhibition features over 40 colorful art works from this famous artist. Themed as "All about Love Speaks Forever", the art exhibition will run through June 9th.

 

The exhibition features over 40 of the Yayoi Kusama’s art works, which include her "Infinity Mirrored Room," "Pumpkins" and "My Eternal Soul" series. A number of the large-scale reflective installations are specifically designed for Shanghai Fosun Foundation by Yayoi Kusama. Her works cover a wide range of art forms, from painting and sculpture to installation and literature.

 

Shanghai Fosun Foundation was established in November 2012 as the main humanitarian arm of the Fosun Group. The main interests of Fosun Foundation include natural disaster relief, poverty alleviation, aid to the disabled, cultural development, public education, youth entrepreneurship, and other social causes. Fosun Foundation has established an international Fosun nexus for art and culture to strength the cultural exchange between China and Western.
