Exhibition featuring replicas of textile artworks kicks off in Beijing

Beijing Prince Kung's Mansion opens the exhibition featuring on replicas of textile artworks, which used by Danish noble families from the 17th to 21st centuries. The exhibition is opened for free to the public from September 5th to October 15th.

 

Most of the exhibits on shown are collected by the Museum of National History at Frederiksborg Castle in Denmark. The textile exhibition also showcases embroidered artworks designed by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark.

 

It is reported that the Prince Kung's Mansion and the National Museum of History of Frederiksborg in Denmark have started the cooperation since 2008. Many joint exhibitions opened before have been well appreciated by the audiences around the world. The exhibition "Shards Synthesis: Kasper Estrup Painting Exhibition" curates by the National Museum of History in Frederiksborg is also opened at Prince Kung's Mansion on September 5th.
