Recently, the exhibition of 100 paintings by 100 nationwide artists, aged mainly from 30 to 45, opens at the China National Academy of Painting. The exhibition will last until August 28.

The academy has organized a series of exhibitions to the public, since early this year to mark the centennial of the Communist Party of China. The oil paintings and Chinese ink-water paintings on show encompass the three classical genres: landscapes, flowers and birds, and figures.

The art works on show reflect the efforts, which a younger generation of artists has made to be more innovative in presenting the changing landscapes of the country, and the vibrancy of people’s life.
