The annually held winter fishing tourism festival is held on Jan. 18, 2014, in Ulunggur Lake of Fuhai County, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The festival attracted numerous tourists despite the cold weather. As a cultural tradition and an impulse of local economy, the ice fishing has become special scenery in the cold winter of Xinjiang.
