144-hour visa-free policy brings convenience

Since Jan. 30, China government has expanded its 72-hour visa-free policy to 144 hours in specific regions. Eligible visitors or businesspeople traveling in Yangtze River Delta - Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nanjing can enjoy this convenient 144-hour visa-free policy. Within 144 hours, foreign visitors can freely travel through these three cities. Visitors from 51 countries are eligible for the policy, including the United States, Russia, Britain, Australia, France, Japan, etc.

 

The 144-hour visa-free transit program has been implemented in Nanjing Lukou Airport of Jiangsu, Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport of Zhejiang, and all air, sea and railway ports of Shanghai. The expanded visa-free entry policy has boosted the number of inbound foreign tourists in Yangtze River Delta and built a foreign-friendly environment for inbound tourists.
