The Beijing International Marathon
(BIM) is an annual marathon race organized by the China Athletics Association and registered by the International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF) and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). The race was first held in 1981 and has been held every year since. The race is usually held in October, from Tian'anmen Square to the National Olympic Sports Centre.

(CITS), Head Office is the designated agency for marathon registration and marathon travel service for overseas amateur athletes. Come to Beijing and run to the heartbeat of China's historic and vibrant capital city.

CITS receives overseas amateur registrations only. Professional/Elite athletes please contact the event organizer. Participants from Hong Kong S.A.R., Macao S.A.R. and Taiwan, please go to http://www.beijing-marathon.com/cn/index.html for registration.
China International Travel Agency, Head Office is not responsible for invitation letters
in relation to visa application in any form as always, and applicants themselves should ensure that they have no problem with the visa entering China before the Beijing marathon. The registration fee is non-refundable.
Please double check and make sure the NAME and PASSPORT NUMBER you submitted are in accordance with those on your passport. Declaration of false personal information will lead to failures in entry, kit pick-up and the following processes. Declaration of false age, gender or personal information is not permitted. No replacement runner is permitted.
One person is allowed to submit only one application. If dual entry is discovered by the organizer, the applicant will be automatically disqualified, and no fees will be refunded.
