On December 11, a new air route is opened between Tianjin, one of the four municipalities in the northern China, and Sihanoukville, the coastal city in Cambodia. The new air route will be operated by Cambodia JC International Airlines, according to Tianjin Binhai International Airport.

Two round trips are scheduled to fly on every Tuesday and Saturday. The flight QD718 is planned to depart from Sihanouk International Airport at 18:15 local time and arrive in Tianjin Binhai International Airport at 0:15 (+1) Beijing time. The return flight QD719 will leave Tianjin at 01:15 Beijing time on Wednesdays and Sundays and will arrive in Sihanoukville at 05:30 local time.

Tianjin borders Hebei Province and Beijing Municipality, which is also bounded to the east by the Bohai Gulf portion of the Yellow Sea. Tianjin is one of the five national central cities of China, which is governed as a direct-controlled municipality. In recent years, more and more visitors choose to visit Tianjin due to its illustrious historical heritage and other natural resources.
