Sanlian Taofen Bookstore opened its second 24X7 branch in Beijing on 23, April. Located in university hub in Haidian District, the new store is near multiple universities, including prestigious Tsinghua University. Occupying an area of 960 square meters, the new bookstore offers cafe service and its book selection targets young and middle-aged readers.

The Sanlian Taofen Bookstore, opened in 1996, is considered a Beijing cultural landmark. It has become the first 24-hour bookstore in Beijing since April 2014, which is located at the eastern corner of the National Arts Museum of China. It drew a lot of media attention, though some doubted its financial viability considering the booming business of e-books. However, the bookstore ended up seeing a 58% increase in sales and a 111% increase in profits last year.
