New direct flight to link Zhangjiajie and Daegu

According to the T'way Airlines of the South Korea, a new direct flight links Zhangjiajie, a tourist city in the northwestern Hunan Province, and Daegu, the fourth largest city in South Korea since October 13th. Up to now, Zhangjiajie has launched eight international and regional air routes. This flight is the second international direct flight linking Zhangjiajie and the city in South Korea.

 

The air route is run by a Boeing B737-800 aircraft of T'way Airlines. The flight TW681 departs at 08:00 local time and arrives in Zhangjiajie at 10:05 Beijing time. The flight is scheduled to run on every Wednesday and Sunday. The return flight TW682 leaves from Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport at 11:05 Beijing time and arrives at Daegu International Airport at 13:50 local time.

 

Zhangjiajie is a famous Chinese tourist destination in Hunan Province. The Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie is on the World Natural Heritage List of UNESCO and a national 5A scenic area in China. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is the first National Forest Park in China since 1982. Its rare quartz sandstone peak forest landform wins good reputation and the movie Avatar was shot on its mountains.
