New direct flight links Wuhan and Yangon

According to China Eastern Airlines, a new direct flight opens between Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province and Yangon, the capital of Myanmar since May 29th. The direct flight is the first direct flight linking Wuhan and Yangon, which is scheduled to fly on every Wednesday.

 

The flight is operated by Boeing 737 aircraft of China Eastern Airlines. The flight MU2659 leaves from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport at 23:00 Beijing time. It arrives at Yangon International Airport at 01:35 (+1) local time. The return flight MU2660 departs from Yangon at 02:35 local time, and it arrives in Wuhan at 07:45 Beijing time.

 

Wuhan is a historical city with the history of 3,500 years in Hubei Province. During the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911), Hankou became one of the four best-known towns in the country. For centuries, Wuhan has been the trade and transportation center in the central China. Hubei Provincial Museum and Yellow Crane Tower are two places to appreciate ancient Chinese history and culture in Wuhan.
