Haikou and Melbourne to link by Hainan Airlines

According to the Hainan Airlines, a new direct flight will be launched since December 22nd, between the city of Haikou, capital of south China's Hainan Province, and Melbourne, is the capital and most populous city of the Australian.

 

The new air route, served by the Airbus 330 aircraft, is the second direct international route between Hainan Province and Oceania. The flight HU483 will leave Haikou Meilan International Airport at 18:40 Beijing time every Wednesday and Sunday. It will arrive in Melbourne at 07:00 (+1) local time. The return flight HU484 will depart from Melbourne at 09:00 local time, and arrive in Haikou at 15:55 Beijing time every Monday and Thursday.

 

Haikou is known as the 'Coconut City' in Hainan Province. The city features beautiful sunshine, crystal water and soft sand. It is the provincial administrative center as well as the economy, culture and the transportation center in Hainan. Hainan Visa-free Policy with a validity of 30 days is applicable for travelers holding ordinary passports issued by the 59 qualifying countries.
