A direct air route between Chongqing in southwest China, and Cebu, the Philippines, has been launched by Sichuan Airlines on 28, March, 2017.
The new route operates four times a week with Airbus A321. The Chongqing - Cebu flight leaves at 16:45 on every Tuesday and Thursday and arrive in Cebu at 20:45. On Friday and Sunday, the flight departs from Chongqing at 18:15 and arrives in Cebu on 21:55.
The one-way journey takes about 4 hours. The new service is expected to promote the Philippines as a vacation destination to Chinese tourists, and will make travel between the two cities much more convenient.
