According to Air China, the direct flight linking Dalian, the former military and strategic port colonized by Russia, and Sendai, the biggest economic and cultural center in the northeast of Japan, opens on November 5th.
The flight is operated by Boeing 737 aircraft of Air China. The flight CA155 departs from Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport on every Tuesday and Saturday at 09:55 Beijing time. It arrives in Sendai Airport at 13:30 local time. The return flight CA156 leaves Sendai at 14:30 local time, it arrives in Dalian at 17:00 Beijing time.
Dalian now already has direct flight to nine cities in Japan, including Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Hiroshima, etc. Dalian airport aims to transfer 1 million passengers to Japan every year. Dalian locates at Liaodong Peninsula in northeast China. It borders Yellow Sea in the east, and Bohai Sea in the west.
