Chongqing and Bo’ao to be linked by Urumqi Air

To facilitate the travel needs and to meet the demands of tourist in winter and spring, an air route linking Chongqing, the largest municipality in southwest China, and Bo’ao, a town located next to the eastern coastal city of Qionghai in Hainan Province. The flight will be opened since October 28th.

 

The air route will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft and there will be one flight every day. The flight UQ 3598 will leave Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 22:05 p.m. Beijing time, and it will arrive in Bo’ao Airport at 1:35 a.m. (+1) Beijing time. The return flight UQ 3597 will leave Bo’ao at 19:40 p.m. Beijing time, and it will arrive in Chongqing at 22:05 p.m. Beijing time.

 

Bo’ao is a small town located in Qionghai City in the northeast of Hainan Island, with an area of 1710 square kilometers. Bo’ao now is well known now just because of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), a nongovernmental and nonprofit international organization with a fixed conference date and a fixed domicile.
