Xi'an cultural symbols – terracotta warriors and horses were vividly made into chocolate art. The special chocolate art exhibition debuted at the Tang West Market Museum in Xi’an, Shanxi Province, on Aug. 5th, 2016.

This amazing chocolate art exhibition is held by Tang West Market Museum, collaborating with the world renowned Nikolya Chocolate Museum. Cultural symbols of Xi’an were displayed, such as the terracotta warriors and horses of Emperor Qin Shihuang, ancient weapons and coins, and Shaanxi noodles. The exhibition focuses on the Silk Road theme and showcases the original Chinese culture, especially the local Shan’xi culture. More than 1,500 kilograms of raw materials, including pure chocolate and almond, were used to create more than 700 pieces of chocolate artworks. There were 150 pieces of them specially designed with Chinese elements.

The exhibition will last for three months. Meanwhile, visitors can apply for the chocolate master class to learn chocolate art making during the exhibition.
