A new route from Chengdu to Shigatse will be launched on July 8, announced by Air China. This route will be the first civil aviation service to Shigatse, the second-largest city in the Tibet Autonomous Region.

The Chengdu-Shigatse flight operates 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).
