Subashi Temple, Kuqa Museum, Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves Subash Buddhist Temple Ruins, also known as Jiasi Daban Monastery, are located 20 kilometers northeast of Kuqa City in Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, China. Dating back to the Wei and Jin Dynasties, this site includes a Buddhist pagoda surrounded by temples, caves, halls, and monks' quarters. Well-preserved and split by a river, the ruins are mainly concentrated in the West Temple area. The Kuqa Museum has collection of over 600 artifacts, including unearthed relics, cave murals, and folk artifacts, as documented in the Chinese Museum Yearbook. The Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves is one of the best preserved caves in
Xinjiang. It was built around 3rd century AD, and left about 265 caves today.

Karez System, Bazelik Thousand Buddha Caves, Gaochang Ancient Ruins The Karez System (UNESCO), an underground irrigation system, is considered to be one of the three great ancient projects of China. Its main function is to deliver water from nearby snow capped mountains to Turpan and its agricultural fields. The Bazelik Thousand Buddha Caves has 77 caves and inside each cave is a rural of the Buddha painted on the ceiling along with hundreds of Buddhist sculptures and figures. The Gaochang Ancient Ruins used to be the capital of ancient kingdom Gaochang, which is also the biggest ruins in Xinjiang.
