Upon the arrival at Beijing Airport, the clients will meet our guide and transfer to the hotel. After lunch, you will have a tour of the Temple of Heaven. After the visit, enjoy Peking Duck dinner.

After breakfast, visit the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. In the evening, admire Chinese Kung Fu or acrobatics.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit the Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City. After the visit, transfer to the airport and take the flight to Kunming. Upon the arrival at Kunming Airport, you will meet our guide and transfer to the hotel.

Apply for the driving permit in the morning. After lunch, visit a local Flower & Bird & Fish Market.

After breakfast and check-out, proceed to the parking lot to pick up your campervan. Go shopping at a supermarket nearby until 14:00 when you will start your journey to the 90-kilometer-away Shilin Scenic Spot. Arrive and visit the Shilin Scenic Spot at 16:00.

After breakfast, drive to visit the Chengzi Ancient Town in Mile Region. This region houses ethnic groups, such as Yi, Hani, and Dai. But the Chengzi Ancient Town has a Han majority. On the way, you may visit the Alu Cave if you like.

After breakfast, drive to the Yuanyang Terrace, a World Heritage site created by Hani people. If you arrive early, you may catch a sunset at the Laohuzui Scenic Area.

Wake up early to catch a sunrise at the Duoyishu Scenic Area, which is considered to be the best place to take pictures of the breathtaking landscapes in Yuanyang.

After the sunrise, the rest of the day is free at leisure.

After breakfast, drive by Gejiu and Jianshui, to the Tuanshan Village. Tuanshan Village is built in the Qing Dynasty, regarded as the Gem of Chinese Civil Houses. Visiting the village is like traveling to another China. Small, cobbled lanes and old women with bound feet blend leave you with impressions of timelessness, art, and architecture. It has been enlisted by the World Monuments Fund (WMF) as one of the 100 Most Endangered Places for the year of 2006.

After arrival, be free to explore the village on your own.

After breakfast, drive along winding country roads, passing by laid-back villages and enjoying the beautiful natural scenery.

Pass by the Wild Elephant Valley, a reserve for Asian elephants. If you like, you are free to take a visit. After arrival at Jinghong City, park at the parking lot of the Tropical Botanic Garden. At 15:00, visit the Zongfo Temple and Manting Park. After the visit, go to a local farmers’ market. At night, enjoy a buffet dinner.

After driving 66 kilometers and passing by many Puer tea houses, you will encounter a nearly 1000-year-old octagonal pavilion. Then, take the following 110-kilometer national roads in mountains. The roads of this section are wider hence more vehicles here. Turn left at Lancang Town to the provincial roads and head for Ximeng County. This section of roads is 54 kilometers long and more winding than the former section. Vehicles at this section pass by quickly, so please keep safe. At the end of this section, turn right to the county. Turn Left after arriving at the roundabout at the county center, and then drive 100 meters to the parking lot of the Mengsuo Longtan Park

After breakfast, drive on hilly roads to China’s last primitive tribe - Wengding, where people still maintain an ancient lifestyle.

After breakfast, head for Xiyi, a village on the bank of the Jinsha River. En route, you can explore the hilly roads and admire the scenery in a most relaxing way.

Drive by the Weishan Ancient Town and Dali Ancient Town, two hidden resorts less explored by visitors. You can visit the two towns if you like or directly head for the Three Pagoda in Dali.

Today, you will visit Dali without driving your own campervan. In the morning, take a bus to visit the old city and a local farmers’ market. In the afternoon, take a cruise on Erhai Lake and then glimpse into the customs of Bai Ethnic People.

After breakfast, drive 180 kilometers on the expressway to the Tiger Leaping Gorge. The Gorge is one of the deepest and most spectacular river canyons in the world. Following an ancient trek, you will enjoy a magnificent close-up view of sharp cliffs and roaring water. Then drive to Baishuitai.

Take breakfast after admiring the scenery in Baishuitai. Head for the Ganden Sumtseling Monastery. The Ganden Songzanlin Monastery is the largest Tibetan Buddhism monastery in Yunnan province. Built in the 17th century, during the reign of the Fifth Dalai Lama, it is often called “the Little Potala Palace”. En route, you are free to visit the Pudacuo National Park or a Tibetan village.

Today, drive to Lijiang and take a visit to the Old Town of Lijiang. The Old Town of Lijiang (UNESCO) is one of the best-preserved ancient towns in China and is famous for its distinctive Naxi culture and ancient buildings.

Today, take a bus to visit the Black Dragon Pool, Murals at Baisha Village, and Research Institute of Silk at Baisha Village.

There isn’t much traffic on the highway from Lijiang to Dali. Driving along the highway by Erhai Lake, you will meet several observation decks that allow you to appreciate the beauty of the lake from different angles.

The expressways linking Dali to Chuxiong accommodate many vehicles. Please keep safe.

You are free to visit the Chuxiong Dinosaur Valley in the morning. After the visit, drive back to Kunming and return the campervan. Take all your belongings and check into the hotel. Enjoy a banquet at night.

Check out from the hotel and take the bus to the airport. Take the flight to Shanghai. After arrival, take dinner and then hotel check-in.

Today, you will visit the Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, and The Bund.

Yu Garden is the largest of Shanghai’s ancient gardens with Ming and Qing architectural styles. The Shanghai Museum ranks among the top 10 museums in China and has a collection of 120,000 pieces of Chinese ancient treasures. The Bund, featured outstanding European colonial architectures, is full of new skyscrapers and historical buildings in the center of Shanghai.

At night, enjoy Chinese acrobatics and then return to the hotel. You are suggested to check out ahead of time to save your trouble the next day.
