Chengdu Jinsha: Temporarily closed Dec 5, 2025–Apr 30, 2027

Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum has announced it will temporarily close to the public from December 5, 2025 to April 30, 2027, to undergo a venue renovation project.​

 

After-sales arrangements: Unused tickets are eligible for a full refund via the original purchase channel; the validity of annual and combo passes will be extended by the duration of the closure. During the closure period, cardholders will have free access to the museum’s designated temporary exhibitions (details subject to official notice).

The upcoming renovation will focus on enhanced cultural relic protection, optimized exhibition hall layouts, and upgraded digital interactive experiences - aimed at deepening the cultural connotations of Jinsha and improving visitor experience. Updates on the renovation progress and reopening details will be posted on the museum’s official website and WeChat official account, so please stay tuned.​
