Beijing Join-in Tour - CITS Join-in Tour 2012

• Day 1 Arrive Beijing

  Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel.

  Hotel: Beijing International Hotel (5-star).

• Day 2 Beijing

  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

  Full day tour: visit the Temple of Heaven, Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace.

  Today visit the Temple of Heaven (UNESCO), viewing local people doing morning exercise. Temple of Heaven is where ancient Chinese emperors would make sacrifices to Heaven and pray for bountiful harvests. This construction is supreme achievement of Chinese traditional architecture.

  Then visit Tian'anmen Square, the world’s largest and renowned public square where many historical events once took place. Then walk into the Forbidden City (UNESCO), where the 24 emperors of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties ruled  for nearly 500 years (1420-1911). Experience the architectural splendour of the palaces, ceremonial courtyards and private quarters.

  Continue the Summer Palace (UNESCO), the largest imperial garden in the world,

  Pearl factory visit en route.

• Day 3 Beijing

  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

  Full day tour: visit the Badaling Great Wall & Sacred Way.

  Today setting out to the China's most renowned monument, Great Wall(UNESCO) – Badaling Section which is the most spectacular structures ever built by human and as the only one visible from space.

  Then walk along the Sacred Way, which means the road leading to heaven, is lined with stone statues of the mausoleum.

  Jade factory visit en route.

• Day 4 Beijing

  Meals: Breakfast

  Free at leisure.

  Optional tours are available.

• Day 5 Depart Beijing

  Meals: Breakfast

  Transfer to airport.

  Service ends.
